I won a Gold Medal for this painting in 1976, at the American Watercolor Society,

which was held at the National Academy of Design in New York City.

This painting I call, The Years, is about my concept of Time, through a tree.

The anatomy of the tree is a Beech tree, and the bark is from the Chinese Elm when it is wet from rain.
