CHANAKO_Hand of God

"Hand of God" is a watercolor painting about our spirituality.  I used "God's Hand of God" from Michelangelo's Sistine Ceiling, God Creating Adam", and I give credit  back to him on the front surface of the painting.  The triangles/pyramids represent our spiritual triangles, and God's Way of suggesting to all of us that we become the best we can be.  The pointer finger of God's Hand in gold leaf is pointing to the apex of a spiritual triangle, if you'll notice the value there gets whiter to pure, darker, denser at the bottom where we begin our climb up the ladder.  The grid represents "air" and is our deep connection to the distant past, and our connection to the distant future.  There are suggestions of pure white crosses within the atmosphere, and the edge of our earth is also shown at the top, including outer space.  The palm tree is a grounding force for us since we are still here, aiming high to  become and be the best we can, physically, spiritually, mentally.  

An application of gold leaf is applied to God's Hand, which is done by my hand which takes, many, many, many hours.
