CHANAKO_Ethereal Blue Thunderstorm

This oil painting was created from studies and photographs that I made of this actual scene.  It was approaching dusk when this ominous storm blew in quickly and rays of sun setting shone between and under the foreboding, stormy sky.  The location is Longboat Key, Florida, on the gulfcoast.
